Is your milk tea sweetened? What if I don’t like sweet?
Yes - our original house blend is sweetened, sugar is added in the formula to amplify the flavour which is most suitable for the majority. However, it is not really sweet when enjoyed chilled.
If you would like to add your own sugar, you can come to our cafe to enjoy a hot version where you may add your own sugar.
How should I enjoy the milk tea?
Our milk tea is best enjoyed cold. However, you can also enjoy it warm by reheating the milk tea drink in microwave.
Lai Cha pairs with pastries, cookies and cakes perfectly, just like other tea!
Hong Kong milk tea is very strong, am I going to like it?
Hong Kong milk tea (‘Lai Cha’) is known to be a rich caffeine drink. This is also one of the reason why Hong Kong people can work long hours and build this great city (Joking!) If you’re new to Lai Cha, you may be hit by the caffeine punch, but the evaporated milk gives a rich and velvety texture to the tea. We are sure you’d like the tea flavour and creaminess of it. We recommend you to drink it at daytime and even enjoy it with pastries.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes! We love dogs at HOKO and welcome well-behaved dogs in our cafe. We are excited to meet you and your paw friends.

Please let a member of staff know and order a Hong Kong French Toast. We can light a candle for you which is a special treat that everyone loves!
Unfortunately we do not allow birthday cakes or other outside food & drinks in our cafe.
